The Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP) position is an integral part of our management team. LDSPs oversee the day to day operations of one MDM site. Some responsibilities of an LDSP include:
Supervision of Direct Support Professionals including scheduling, interviewing, training, and monitoring performance
Coaching Direct Support Professionals and delegating tasks
Development and monitoring all service plans including outcomes and supports for service recipients
Ensuring all service recipients rights are being adhered to and service plans are person-centered
Communication with service recipients families, case managers, and day programs
Auditing all documentation in the areas of finance, medication administration, service recipients records, etc.
Coordination of all household maintenance
Adherence to budgetary guidelines
Maintaining all household supplies and groceries
Completing all reporting requirements for incidents, drafting periodic reviews, and completing all paperwork required for annual service planning meetings
On-call responsibilities as assigned
Direct care responsibilities supporting the service recipients in the site location

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year of experience in the field
High School Diploma or the equivalent
Eligibility to work in the United States
Valid MN or WI Driver's license
Clean Driving Record
Insured, reliable vehicle for use at each shift
Background clearance as required by BCA and DHS
Medication Administration Certificate endorsed by RN (or willingness to obtain at your own cost)
Experience in the field of residential services for developmental disabilities and/or mental illness highly preferred
