DESCRIPTION
Direct Support Professionals are essential members of our team. The daily responsibilities of a DSP include:

  • Ensuring safety and happiness of our service recipients
  • Assisting our service recipients in reaching their goals
  • Accompanying service recipients to activities or out in
    ​the community
  • Assisting service recipients with cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.
  • Doing personal cares such as toileting, grooming, and bathing
  • Implementing programming and/or redirecting maladaptive behaviors
  • Transporting service recipients to medical appointments
  • Administering medication
  • Modeling appropriate behavior at all times.
  • Thorough and accurate documentation
  • Ensuring the home is clean and meets licensing and safety requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS​​


  • Positive attitude
  • Great communication skills
  • High School Diploma / GED / equivalent
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Insured, safe, and reliable vehicle for work use
  • Background clearance as required by BCA and DHS
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
